The first time we talked on the phone, it lasted about 2½ hours. This seemed like a good sign. I invited Russell to a performance I was in. When I showed up to the performance, I found out my show was canceled. There went the plans for the evening! We were stumped with what to do. I joked that we should go play board games, but Russell actually took this seriously and said he had some at home. We were off!
